Two skiers from Bamiyan skiing clubs won the two-day skiing competitions as part of a winter tournament in the province.
At least 70 skiers from Bamiyan and Maidan Wardak provinces had participated in the competition.
Among boys, Mohammad Ali Adin won the championship. He urged officials to pay attention to improvement of ski in the country.
“There are less facilities available for this sport. I urge the officials and national investors to invest in ski,” Adina said.

“We are faced with some problems. One of them is lack of facilities. But despite all these, Bamiyan girls dared to participate in the competitions,” said Mohammadi.
“This year, Bamiyan had less snowfall compared with previous years therefore we had less time for exercising. However, we managed to hold the festival,”said Sajjad Hussaini, an organizer of the event.
