In the third match of the 7th Afghan Premier League Football Tournament, De Abasin Sape beat De Spinghar Bazan 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
Abasin took a very early lead and scored their first goal in the 2nd minute after Zainudin Sharifi, their well-known striker, netted the ball. Just seven minutes later Obaidullah Afzali scored the second goal for his team.
The players of De Spinghar Bazan started to panic after Abasin’s second goal which led them to miss good opportunities. However in the last minute of the first half, De Spinghar Bazan’s hard work paid off when they scored their first goal.
De Spinghar Bazan went into the second half with much confidence, as did De Abasin Sape. Despite a fast paced second half, De Abasin Sape only managed to score again in the 60th minute when Obaidullah Afzali netted the ball.
With Abasin having three goals under their belt, the pressure started to mount for De Spinghar Bazan.
Twenty seven minutes later however, De Spinghar Bazan’s Sher Ali Lali scored another goal for his team, bringing the total to 3-2 in Abasin’s favor.
Obaidullah Afzali won man of the match, and stats showed that De Abasin Sape had maintained 55 percent possession of the ball throughout the game.
Simorgh Alborz and Toofan Harirod will face each other on Wednesday evening.
