Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday rejected the prospects for the creation of an interim government in Afghanistan, saying there is no possibility for the creation of an interim administration, as it does not support the interests of the country.
He said that a peace process in which the rights of the citizens of Afghanistan are sacrificed has no credibility and that no one maintains the right to change the name of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Former ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, Husain Haqqani, says Taliban will gain the upper hand if the US withdraws troops from Afghanistan without a peace deal.
Haqqani, who is a senior fellow and director for South and Central Asia at Hudson Institute, said at The Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi that Taliban should know the people of Afghanistan are not in favor of the return of an Islamic emirate. and the people will fight against the group to safeguard current achievements.
