Afghanistan’s googly master Rashid Khan and the all-rounder Mohammad Nabi said they are ready to show good performance in the 12th season of the Indian Premier League.
Rashid and Nabi who are part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad will appear in the opening match of the team against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday afternoon.
The Afghan cricket starts have already joined training sessions with their teammates.
“Feeling good, feeling ready,” Rashid Khan said. “Good to be back with the orange army and looking forward to good session.”
“Keep supporting us and Inshallah we will rock it this time,” Nabi promised.
Sunrisers will face Kolkata Knight Riders on their first match of the season on Sunday at 3pm Kabul time.
Afghanistan’s other cricket sensation, Mujeeb Zadran, has joined Kings XI Punjab and has already started training sessions for the opening match.
Rashid and Nabi had good performance against Ireland in T201, ODI and Test matches.
Afghanistan won T20I and Test series against Ireland and the ODI finished to a draw after a good display of the key players like Rashid, Nabi, Mujeeb Zadran and Rahmat Shah.
