‘Mission Impossible Fallout’ 6th Biggest Opening Movie in India

Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible-Fallout has opened to packed movie theaters in India and earned almost $1.4 million on opening day.

Tom Cruise has done it yet again. His latest film, Mission: Impossible-Fallout, has opened to good numbers in India, theHindustan Times reported adding that as per Box Office India, the film has registered the sixth biggest number for a Hollywood film in India.

Cruise’s film has earned approximately Rs 9.50 crore (nearly $1.4m) on its opening day, says the report.

The only other movies to make more on opening day at the Box Office in India have been Avengers-Infinity War, Fast And Furious 7, Avengers-Age Of Ultron, The Jungle Book and Fast And Furious 8.

In Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Ethan Hunt is once again on a quest to save the world.

According to Hindustan Times, the film completes the three-film arc that began with Ghost Protocol and the Syndicate, an international terror network, is the enemy. Henry Cavill plays the CIA agent tasked to keep an eye out on Ethan Hunt and to eliminate him should he go rogue.
